Elizabeth Hanretty

Creative Director

Elizabeth is Meridian’s Creative Director—managing the creative aspects and digital presence for Meridian clients.

Elizabeth grew up in Cameron Park, CA where she first discovered her passion for graphic design and communicating messages through current and new tech mediums. Elizabeth attended California State University, Sacramento and then transferred to Academy of Art University in San Francisco where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.

Prior to joining the team at Meridian, Elizabeth worked at Profile by Design in El Dorado Hills as a Graphic Designer and Studio Manager where her duties included managing and training two designers, rebranding numerous companies, social media marketing, web design and market strategies. From there she dove into her political design career as a Graphic Designer at the California State Assembly Republican Caucus in 2013 where she managed 28 Assemblymember accounts and designed marketing materials for mail, brochures, websites, social media, and public events.

In April of 2023, Elizabeth was recognized as a top national graphic designer, by the AAPC, and awarded a Silver Pollie Award for the Overall Candidate Division, Best Direct Mail Campaign—Republican, for her work on the Suzette Valladares for Assembly 2022 campaign.

Elizabeth stays active through working out, traveling, cooking, and photography. Elizabeth enjoys living in East Sacramento with her husband Ryan, their four-year-old daughter Ella, and their two dogs, Milo and Maverick.
