Josh Whitfield’s commitment to service brought him from the military into the world of politics.

Josh served five years in the United States Army, earning the Bronze Star Medal for valorous action in combat during a deployment to Iraq in addition to receiving the Purple Heart Decoration.

In politics, Josh has served as a campaign manager and grassroots coordinator for numerous campaigns. Josh also managed the GOTV efforts in Nevada’s largest county for McCain-Palin, and he provided strategic direction for the successful recall campaign of three city councilmen in Stanislaus County.

Josh lives in Waterford, California where he serves as the director of a youth basketball league, volunteers for local youth programs and advocates for local veterans. Josh’s work with veterans earned him the Veteran of the Year Award for the 25th Assembly District.
