Justin Hyer | Account Executive
Justin is a lifelong political junkie, whose penchant for good government and interest in strategic communications landed him at Meridian Pacific.
At Meridian, Justin works with political and commercial clients in order to ensure their government affairs and strategic communication needs are met. Prior to joining the firm, Justin gained experience and a deeper understanding of California’s political scene by working for campaigns and elected officials at the city, county, and state level.
Justin is a graduate of the Jesse M. Unruh Assembly Fellowship program. Founded in 1957, the fellowship is one of the oldest and most prestigious legislative fellowship programs in the nation. During his time as a Fellow in the California State Assembly, Justin managed half a dozen bills through the legislative process and played a critical role in shaping his office’s communications strategy—including a successful placement of his boss’s oped in the Los Angeles Times, California’s most widelycirculated newspaper.
Justin grew up in the small farm town of Winters, CA, surrounded by his extended family’s cattle ranch and walnut orchards. A graduate of Azusa Pacific University with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration, Justin spent his college years volunteering on local campaigns and representing the student body on matters of academic policy by serving as a liaison between administrators and his peers.
Justin lives in the Midtown neighborhood of Sacramento and while not at work, spends his time scouting out the city’s incredible restaurant scene and planning his next overseas adventure.
