Kimberly Nickols is a communications and public relations specialist who has extensive experience in statewide political and media campaigns, coalition building and issue advocacy.

At Meridian, Kim focuses on local, state and congressional candidate races. She also coordinates the implementation of public relations strategies for Fortune 100 companies and national advocacy coalitions.

Prior to joining Meridian, Kim served as vice president for a Sacramento-based public relations firm where she facilitated governmental relations and public affairs outreach for Native American Indian tribes throughout California, business and trade associations, regional developers and elected officials.

Kim earned a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from the University of San Diego. She is a member of the Sacramento Public Relations Association and Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Association’s Honor Society.

Kim lives in Sacramento with her husband, son, and Labrador Retriever.
