Mary Lou Evans joins West Meridian with over two decades of political, government relations and management experience. Her past work includes managing the

Personal Injury Protection Claims Unit and the Claims Training Unit for SAFECO Insurance and working as a lobbyist representing CSAC and the counties of Santa Clara, San Diego, Riverside, and Ventura in Washington, D.C.

Mary Lou also worked for the re-election campaign for Senator Gordon Smith of Oregon.

Most recently, Mary Lou worked as a substitute para-educator for Everett Public Schools.

In addition, Mary Lou has fulfilled roles such as youth soccer coach, PTA secretary and president, and Girl Scout troop treasurer.

Mary Lou earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Santa Clara University. During her time at Santa Clara University, Mary Lou played on the nationally ranked women’s soccer team. Her commitment to the team helped hone her teamwork and leadership skills.

Mary Lou was born and raised in Seattle, Washington.
