Rita has more than a decade of experience as an executive assistant. Before joining Meridian, Rita worked at Southern California Edison as an Executive Assistant providing support for their public affairs team. Rita also served in Governor Schwarzenegger’s Administration in various capacities including Deputy Appointments Secretary.

At Meridian, Rita manages the day-to-day schedule of Meridian Partner Tom Ross and coordinates meetings and events for various clients.

Rita was born in the Azores Islands and is fluent in Portuguese. She and her husband, Wendel, live in Folsom with their daughter.
