Increasing Republican voter turnout for the presidential election
In an effort to increase vote-by-mail turnout in targeted states, Meridian was tasked by the McCain campaign to produce a vote-by-mail application. The application, which was mailed two weeks before the Republican National Convention, also narrates McCain’s background in the military and the Senate.
The upcoming Republican National Convention would announce McCain’s candidacy to the nation and frame the Senator as a lifelong public servant.
The mail piece echoes the same theme of service displayed at the Convention. It was hugely successful in prompting a large number of voters to submit the vote-by-mail application and cast their ballot early.
