Winning Election and Re-Election

Meridian Pacific helped Susan Peters win her seat as a Sacramento County Supervisor in 2004 and again in 2008.

In 2004, Susan faced a crowded race for supervisor. Our goal was to win outright in the Primary Election.

Meridian devised a strategy to highlight Susan’s extensive contributions to the community as well as her agenda to improve the quality of life in Sacramento County. A combination of direct mail and invitations to over 20 neighborhood gatherings effectively communicated Susan’s message.

On Election Day, Susan won 53 percent of the vote—eliminating the need to advance to the General Election.

When re-election rolled around in 2008, Susan had already done all the hard work as an effective supervisor. Our task was to communicate this to her constituents.

Susan Peters was re-elected with 54% of the vote.
