Frank Thomsen has a passion for both public policy and political campaigning.
At Meridian, Frank is focused on housing policy research and advocacy. Additionally, he has provided policy analysis and built coalitions for statewide propositions and public affairs campaigns, including the overwhelming defeat of Proposition 10 by 19 percent in 2018.
Frank Thomsen gained experience in California’s legislative and public policy-making process while serving as an Assembly intern and later as a Senate fellow.
Frank is a graduate of the prestigious California Senate Fellows Program. During his time as a Senate fellow, Frank managed four bills through the legislative process and staffed two committees.
Frank earned his Bachelor’s in English from California State University, Sacramento. Frank currently lives in Midtown Sacramento and enjoys bike riding and reading during his free time.
