Tino Rossi joined the Meridian during the 2018 election cycle. He brings with him a background of membership association advocacy, grassroots coalition building, and legislative analysis.
Tino began his career working in the Capitol for Assemblywoman Shannon Grove before moving to the Bay Area where he worked for large technology organizations as a leadership development consultant. Tino returned to Sacramento and took a position as the Director of Communications and Government Affairs for the Rice Growers Association of California. There he was responsible for ensuring international trades were compliant with existing trade agreements, tracking new legislation and regulations domestically and internationally, and communications for the Association.
A native of Bakersfield, California, Tino enjoys utilizing his down time to maintain his agricultural roots by judging livestock shows across the western United States and spending time at VA Farms, a Sacramento-area rice farm he is involved in. You can also often find him on the golf course, at the lake, or cheering on his favorite sports teams.
Tino lives in midtown Sacramento with his girlfriend, Lauren, and their hairless cat, Peki.
